Summer officially started with the end of school this past Thursday and with the temperatures consistently in the 80s. Last night, Emmanuel had a friend over, our old neighbour. It is funny how they can just pick up and chat the evening away. This morning, we took Milo around the old neighborhood, visiting old favorite spots like the Jardin Lalanne. Here they are getting a big drink of water at a fountain in les Halles. We have a picnic planned tonight. To observe the 4th of July, we had an American breakfast this morning and my salad tonight will include watermelon. This is summer!
