Blue & Gold picnic
Our little Tiger and our little Bear had their last Cub Scout event yesterday. This is the end-of-the-year get-together where the boys receive their badges and electives for the work they did during the year. Even moms get a pin. Here I am receiving my second pin of the day, which Emmanuel is valiantly trying to get on my shirt. It was not quite the last thing as the Tigers have an outing next Saturday. We are taking them on a visit of a radio station as part of learning about mass communication (sounds a bit old-fashioned as an idea these days, but mass media is not completely dead yet).
