Gab goes to the mat
Last saturday, Gabriel was participating in a judo competition. The children, aged 4 to 10, were matched in groups of four and fought each other in short fights. Gabriel was impressed at first when he entered the huge gym with probably over 100 kids running around. I think he would have liked to go away. But he got into it, waited patiently for his turn and gave it his best effort. It is a bit hard for me to tell who wins in those scrappy little fights. They all had their share of throwing the opponent down and being thrown down. Everybody walked away with a medal.
