Good eats
Gabriel and I were alone for dinner tonight and the fridge was empty. We went out shopping and I asked him to pick whatever he wanted. Guess what? The menu was snails (the ready-made kind in the traditional garlic butter sauce) and lamb chops with a medley of green vegetables. He has recently discovered that he absolutely loves snails and lamb has become his favorite meat. Is that boy a gourmet or what?
Speaking of gourmet, these strawberries are something else. They come from a coop of producers, called Le Petit Producteur. The thing is that the producer prints his picture and his address on the label. It might be a bit gimmicky and I certainly will not ever meet this guy (he looks a little bit like a nicer version of the embattled Italian statesman Silvio Berlusconi). But boy, those strawberries were incredibly flavorful. They were not just sweet, they were full of taste when they melted in your mouth. By the way, they are long gone.
