Pendant que je suis sur le sujet de mon environnement, il faut que vous sachiez que je n’habite pas dans n’importe quelle maison. Au moment de mon arrivée en août, la maison était même à l’apogée de son heure de gloire avec son propre show à la télé ! Tony et Aaron avaient accepté de participer à une émission qui s’appelle Color Splash sur une des chaînes spécialisées « home and garden ». Un décorateur du nom de David Bromstad débarque avec une armée d’ouvriers et refait une pièce selon les désirs des propriétaires et son inspiration. Quand le travail est fini, les heureux propriétaires découvrent le travail ! Le salon et la salle à manger dans le style Arts and Crafts sont très réussis. Mais allez juger par vous-même sur le site de l’émission.
 
 
While I am on the topic of my living environment, you should know that the house where I live is not just any old house. When I moved in back in August, the house was actually being featured on a show called Color Splash on the HGTV (Home and Garden). The decorator, David Bromstad, walks in with an army of workers and redoes one room based on the desires of the owners and his own inspiration, all within a couple of weeks while the owners are asked to stay away. They finally discover the finished work at the end of the show. The living room and dining rooms were redone in the Arts and Crafts style. It is very striking, night and day with the fine, but drab “before” version. You can judge for yourself here. The funny thing is that Craig and Tracy are big followers of the show. When I was down there and talking about where I live, they went “Yes, we know exactly the house you are talking about”.
