Back to school/Back to work
We are back in Paris and a new school year will start tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. The boys were dragging their feet this morning when we left my parents' where we had gone to spend our last vacation week-end. They were making a lot of noise about not wanting to go back to school, but I think it was just an attitude thing. This afternoon, they were out in one of our local parks playing with a bunch of their friends and they got into the spirit. In any case, off we go tomorrow morning.
The unusual thing about this "rentrée" is that we are now officially splitting our time between our apartment where we will be sleeping and our studio two floors up which is going to be our kitchen, bathroom and hanging out place for the foreseeable future as the remodeling creeps along. Two contractors, the electrician and the plumber, are showing up tomorrow morning. Big day!
