Enjoying the Palais Royal while it lasts
Walking through the Palais Royal in the Spring and discovering what colors the tulips will be that year is one of the great pleasures marking the end of winter in Paris for me. Through the summer, the gardens are a great place to hang out with the children, to picnic with visitors and just to walk through on the way somewhere because it provides such a "out of Paris" experience with calm and greenery (see a pattern here? By the way, the cyclamens are doing just fine in their new home on the boys' window sill). So I was happy to enjoy some sunshine in the Palais Royal while Emmanuel and a friend played for a while this week-end. I just love this place.
