The world beat a path to our door this week. Well, sort of. First, a college friend got in touch and had a spare evening in Paris before heading back to her new home in New Delhi. The impromptu dinner was very fun and the chance to grill her on her life in this teeming metropolis with her Indian husband. Some pretty serious cultural differences to adjust to there! Then my Norwegian friend from University of Oregon days popped up in Paris on one of his top secret missions and we were able to spend an evening together, catching up on kids and family activities. It is always a trip to get visitors from different places, especially when they also take you on a trip back in time. We actually have a full roster of visitors scheduled for the next two months. These will be staying with us from 2-3 nights to two weeks. That should spice things up a little bit.
