Marathon d'écriture/Writing marathon
Si j'étais silencieuse sur le blog, je tapais pourtant furieusement sur mon clavier. En 24 heures, j'ai écrit 5 papiers (25 000 signes pour mes collègues qui comptent en signes). C'est un peu plus que ma moyenne habituelle! Hier, j'ai aussi fait mes débuts dans le monde de la vidéo avec comme premier sujet le bloggeur vidéo et entrepreneur Loic Le Meur qui vient de s'installer à San Francisco pour créer une nouvelle boite qui s'appelle Seesmic. On ne pouvait guère rêver mieux. Mon deuxième sujet était une prise en main filmée du "laptop à 100 dollars" que Nicholas Negroponte veut distribuer en masse aux enfants des pays émergents. Je suis vraiment contente d'avoir enfin fait mes premiers pas grâce à mes potes de l'Atelier. Je me rends mieux compte de tout ce que j'ai à apprendre. Et d'ailleurs, c'est à cela que je vais consacrer ma journée de samedi avec l'aide d'un ami monteur vidéo qui va me "coacher".
I have been silent on the blog, but I was furiously typing away at my keyboard. In exactly 24 hours, I have written 5 stories (somewhere around 4 500 words) which is a bit higher than my average! Yesterday was my video baptism by fire, doing an interview of a French entrepreneur who is starting a new company called Seesmic in San Francisco (quite an appropriate first since he has been video blogging for a while and his new company is all about video content) and a video review of the "$100 laptop" which Nicholas Negroponte has developed for children in emerging countries. It feels good to have finally taken that first step in the video world, thanks to my buddies at Atelier. I now realize everything I have to learn. As a matter of fact, this Saturday is going to be all about starting to learn more with a video editor friend who is going to be my personal coach.
