Paris reunion
This is the third time we see our good friends John and Kristin in Paris. The first time, we were newly settled in Paris and they crashed on the floor of our miniscule furnished studio on the way to their honeymoon in Italy and Greece. The second time, their son was not quite 2 and Emmanuel not quite 1. Having Karl around gave Emmanuel a bit incentive to learn to crawl all over the apartment in a hurry. And now on their third visit, they are actually coming as neighbors since they just moved to Germany. Karl is about to turn 11 and Emmanuel 10. We are talking about major milestones here. In a couple weeks, we will be paying them a visit in Germany and, in order to get prepared, I am actually trying to work on my non-existent German. In the meanwhile, what fun to have seen them here in Paris.
