Remodeling nightmare (and life) continues
Our kitchen cabinets were to be delivered on Monday and the installation was to start on Tuesday. Instead, the room is still the way it was in early September with two posts holding the ceiling and the coop managers (an elected triumvirate of our fellow co-owners) plunging deeper into madness about the situation. I will not go into details here, but it has become so ridiculous it is nearly laughable. Except that it is also a huge pain in the neck.
In the middle of this tough week (work was also pretty crazy), there were some 100% good moments : going to the theatre with Emmanuel to see the Moliere classic Le Malade Imaginaire and having my friend Laurence from Brest for dinner. Walking Timeo is always a calming moment. I can finally take a moment to blog in between turning the last story due this week and taking off on a Scout camping trip. Nice weather is announced, I am taking a book I have not opened for several days, EJ is done with packing. Everything is good.
