Auto-promo pour une bonne cause/Self-promotion for a good cause
Un de mes derniers reportages à San Francisco et ma deuxième expérience de reportage vidéo a donné ceci en français. "PC à 100 dollars", OLPC (One Laptop Per Child), XO, ce petit laptop a plusieurs noms, mais en gros une mission : équiper les enfants des pays émergents d'un ordinateur bon marché, super fonctionnel et costaud. Au-delà du fond, il y a la forme et, là, j'ai des progrès à faire! Mais je me suis bien amusée et merci à K., mon caméraman invisible.
This was one of my last stories in SF and only my second video reporting experience. You are in luck, there is an English version here and a French version here. The 100-dollar PC, the OLPC (One Laptop Per Child), the XO, this laptop has had many names, but mainly one mission which is to equip school children in emerging countries with an affordable, functional and sturdy computer. Beyond the subject matter, there is the delivery and I realize I am not there yet! But it was fun to do and I thank K, my discreet cameraman.
