Moving in
Yesterday, EJ and I moved in into our new kitchen. We brought all our kitchenware out of boxes and cupboards and found a new place for each item in our new cabinets. This morning, we got the sofa and the kitchen table in place. We are ready to roll. The boys should be in for a surprise when they come home this afternoon. Hard to believe that the place used to look like this, this or this. There are still a lot of details to take care of (installing baseboards, finishing painting the outside of the windows, finishing the front door, painting two sections of the walls in colors still to be determined, installing the curtains that our tailor is currently making,...). But it is so nice to finally be using this kitchen. It nearly feels unreal after all this time. EJ needs a serious pat on the back and a vacation.
