Working week-end

As expected, we both worked a lot this week-end while the kids were away. It feels so strange to have a quiet apartment when you are used to constant playing, talking and, yes, bickering. It is a bit supernatural actually, like the world has been hit by an atomic bomb or something. In any case, I absolutely needed this free time to get moving on some projects due today. We still managed to see a movie last night (Revolutionary Road) and we got an impromptu visit from our friend Arne from Norway. In town on very short notice, he wanted to check out the kitchen he had only seen on the blog. Arne, I hope you were not disappointed. We took advantage of his presence to ask him his opinion on a few points still in the air. This kitchen sucks in all our attention, it seems.
